Alumni volunteers can serve as leaders in various capacities. From regional club leaders to our Board of Directors, volunteers are making a difference and helping to shape the future of UCSD Alumni.
Regional Club and Affinity Leaders
UCSD Alumni Regional Clubs help alumni connect to each other and to the University with opportunities for social and professional networking. Regional alumni clubs host career networking nights, lectures, community service activities, sporting events, family picnics, mixers and much more! There are more than 25 clubs around the world. Our Club leaders are invaluable members of our Triton Community. Their hard work and dedication help to promote the mission of UC San Diego and promote Triton Pride. UC San Diego alumni have also formed groups based on profession, area of study, culture, and other interests.

Board of Directors
UCSD Alumni Board of Directors was formed by a group of early graduates in 1974. Today, the Board includes alumni representing various industries, backgrounds and from five decades of graduating classes. Directors are selected based on their strengths, past UCSD involvement and campus pride. Each member may serve two, three-year terms. The Board oversees the strategic development of UCSD Alumni programs and initiatives that advance UC San Diego in communities around the world. The Board is also committed to raising scholarships for ambitious and motivated students. Learn More
