EVENT DETAILS:
Alumni in Japan Facebook group is now at 100 members! You know what that means? Get out your leisure suits and disco balls, because it is time to party.
This will be a San Diego-themed party at the famous Pink Cow in Omotesando. The Pink Cow is perfect for this because it really feels like San Diego in the middle of Tokyo; if you haven't been you will need to join this event to find out. Plus, the burritos are AS GOOD as those back home in San Diego.
There will be games and prizes, including a game using San Diego slang words known as slang bingo. It's fun and easy to learn - more will be explained at the party.
It's also important to note this is a "Beers for Books" event - for every drink you purchase, 100 yen will go to the charity organization Room to Read. Beer for Books is a fundraising concept developed by alumnus Gary Bremermann, MPIA '91.
Guests are allowed, but please send an email to Jacob Searing with the names of your guests to RSVP. We expect space to fill up quick, because UCSD fans outside of Facebook are being invited as well. So, sign up right away!
