EVENT DETAILS:
Join the Central California Coast and the Los Angeles Chapter of the UCSD Alumni Association for a day of wine tasting during harvest season in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley, which is just north of Santa Barbara.
We will have our own mini-shuttle which will pick us up at Fess Parker's Doubletree Resort in Santa Barbara. From there, we'll go on a scenic drive on California State Highway 154 over the San Marcos Pass to Santa Ynez. The first winery we will be visiting will be Sunstone Vineyards & Winery where we will have a catered picnic lunch. Then we'll visit Kalyra Winery, which was featured in the movie Sideways. Our final winery will be Artiste Winery & Studio, where you'll get to paint in the studio during the tasting. Afterwards, we'll go on a tour of Downtown Santa Ynez prior to heading back to Santa Barbara. For those who are interested, we'll go out to dinner at one of the fine restaurants in Santa Barbara.
The price includes wine tasting at all three wineries, transportation via the mini-shuttle, and the catered picnic lunch.
