MEET AT PICNIC AREA 12, near parking lot D before 5:15 to pick up your tickets

You don’t want to miss this special reception and performance as the Smooth Summer Jazz concert reigns supreme with the contemporary tones of saxophonist Dave Koz, the funky horns of Tower of Power and the soft sounds of singer Peabo Bryson.

In a career spanning nearly two decades, Dave Koz has established himself as a world-renowned platinum-selling adult pop and contemporary jazz artist, humanitarian. He is the recipient of four Grammy nominations, and the list of artists with whom he has played, including such musical luminaries as Burt Bacharach, Ray Charles, U2, Luther Vandross, and Rod Stewart, bears testament to his talent. Dave also serves as a radio personality in two different outlets: on weekdays, as the host of an afternoon radio show that airs in fifteen markets across the nation, and as the host of the syndicated Dave Koz Radio Show. Now in its tenth year, the show currently runs in approximately 120 markets.

Prior to the 6:00 PM concert, we will be hosting a complimentary reception, featuring delicious food and beverages, at a private picnic area reserved solely for the UCSD Alumni Association. This will be a great opportunity to get to know and network with fellow alumni and friends.

As always, it's a good idea to bring a blanket or an extra jacket as summer evenings can get chilly.

If you are not able to attend the reception, please meet us at the Picnic Area 12, near Parking Lot D (it is across the street from the Bowl) no later than 5:15p to pick up your tickets. Seats are located in the M/N section

Tickets are limited and advance registration is required for this event. Please RSVP and submit payment by no later than Friday, August 21st.
