EVENT DETAILS:
Please join the Los Angeles Chapter of the UCSD Alumni Association and the UCSB Alumni Association for an exciting afternoon of Indoor Kart Racing at the new K1 Speed in Gardena. The race format will be a Mini Grand Prix which will include 14 laps of qualifying and a 16 lap final race. The qualifying round will determine your starting position in the 16 lap final race. We will have a group for beginners, intermediates and advanced drivers so it will be a competitive race for everyone. In addition, the top three racers in each group will receive medals following all the races in the awards ceremony! Don't miss out on this thrilling event. This will be the first kart racing event for the UCSD Alumni Association.
Volunteers at the event will be helping out, but not racing.
