About the Awards For Excellence

This recognition reception is the major fundraising event dedicated to supporting the Alumni Association's Scholarship Program. All proceeds ensure the University's continued recruitment of top scholars to UCSD.

Each year, the Association honors distinguished alumni, faculty and UCSD’s top scholars.

Write and tell us about your achievements or nominate a fellow alum or community leader who has excelled in their professional, personal and volunteer lives to receive special recognition.

Awards For Excellence Selection

The Awards Selection Committee, made up of elected members of the Association's governing board, selects the recipients. Award winners are individuals who have distinguished themselves in a particular field and who have brought honor and distinction to UCSD.
