How
important is it to be involved in college activities and
living with
other Marshall freshman. Currently I'm housing in Revelle.

Thank
you so much for your question. I don't think it's as important
to be involved in a specific college, as it is to just be involved
any way you can. You are actually very fortunate to be living
in a different college than the one you're in. You have the chance
to attend Marshall AND Revelle activities. During welcome week,
normally your college (Marshall) will want you to be apart of
they're events because they get awards for the best college,
so in that case you should join your fellow Marshall peers for
those events. As for everything else, feel free to attend ANY
event, whether it's for your college, the college you live in,
or even the other four colleges. The key is just to get involved!
You'll find that most of the friends you make will be from the
classes you take, not the college you live in. If you meet a
friend from Warren, attend their event and invite them to any
Marshall or Revelle events as well. I hope this helps! Feel free
to e-mail me back with any further questions.
