Was minoring helpful to you or just something you enjoy in order to get through the stressful undergrad life?

In my case I found it very helpful. I had two minors, Poli Sci and U.S. History. In my current position, working closely with local government agencies, it was valuable to have the background and foundation I got by studying these areas during college. While what you learn in college doesn't necessarily translate verbatim to what you ultimately end up doing as a career, it's important to have that understanding and knowledge basis that school provides.
